With the start of the Fall term, many universities are bringing back students and faculty in various ways whether that is fully returning to campus, hybrid classes, or minimal but required in-person instruction like labs. However, COVID-19 is still a pressing issue and we should inform our campus community through several channels on how to protect themselves and their students & colleagues from spreading COVID-19.
Hello !
As we return to campus, it is critical that all faculty and students remember to follow the safety measures that have been put in place for the fall to keep everyone safe from COVID-19 including:
· Wearing a mask in classrooms, common dorm areas, and other crowded locations (note: masks are required in all shared spaces on campus per university policy) *provide policy link to your university
· Washing hands regularly
· Monitoring yourself for the symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, headache, chills/shaking, lost sense of smell/taste, and fever greater than 100.0°F
· Keeping your distance from others when possible *link to university resource on COVID-19
*Option to include image from university communication about COVID-19
It is our responsibility as a university community to follow these guidelines to continue classes and on campus life. You can find additional resources on how to protect yourself and others our safety website (*link to your university COVID-19 resources page). Please monitor this throughout the semester for updates on COVID-19.
